The next meeting of the London Chapter OAS will be online via ZOOM. It will be held on Thursday February 9, 2022 at 7:30 PM. The speaker will be:

Chris Ellis, Sustainable Archaeology, Museum of Ontario Archaeology & Anthropology, University of Western Ontario on: Fluted Point Typology and Lithic Procurement in the Upper Midcontinent

He will discuss archaeological work documenting variability in 13,000-11,500 year old fluted stone weapon tips, show that all evidence indicates this variability is monitoring time differences and that, when linked to stone source use, informs us on how the area was peopled on a sustained basis. London Chapter members will be automatically sent a ZOOM link but anyone else wishing to attend can send an email request to Jim Keron at jrkeron@yahoo.com and he will send a link to the ZOOM meeting session.
